A pair of Eastern Front trench art brass shells, including one bearing a dimpled cross overlaid by a Slovak-style steel helmet, above a date of “1942” and a partially-legible inscription, the base displaying the remnants of marks indicating that the shell is of Soviet manufacture, measuring 92 mm (w) x 275 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; one commemorative shell, the exterior fully dimpled, bearing a raised inscription of “ZFRONTU 41-45” above crossed swords, the base displaying marks indicating that the shell is of Imperial Russian manufacture, measuring 78 mm (w) x 280 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
